Darkness I remember, nights so clear and brilliant black

When the wind almost just a rivers rolling touch as it went past

My shouts flew and did not echo, sharp, not reaching to the top

Of the night come to beckon me to unknown deeds and stops,

Maybe I’d find a lover, maybe avoid (or cause) a war,

Or maybe just walk in silence, All the way around the world.,

Where I'd always find most reasons that others never find.

Be the one who fucks the sidi queen, laugh if she’s left behind

Deal my enemies and friends the cards just as they come

Have no need for hopes or fears where most kinds succumb

This was my power clarity absolute as darks true friend

And night is most forever, and forever never ends
